Fantasea Cruises provide an extensive ferry service between Shute Harbour, Daydream Island and Hamilton Island. Operating seven days a week, Fantasea Adventure Cruising has a fleet of air-conditioned catamarans, which, because of their frequency, allow tourists the freedom to explore the Whitsundays at their own, pace.

At Shute Harbour, most arriving and departing ferry services link up with Whitsunday Transit bus services to Airlie Beach and Cannonvale. Caution must be taken when catching the bus service to the Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine Airport). Due to the new pre-boarding check-in times at airports, it may be necessary to catch an earlier ferry than caught previously.
