Guided South Whitehaven Beach - Half-Day Adventure
Get ready for a memorable half-day trip to one of the world’s most beautiful beaches! Your journey begins with a transfer to Whitehaven Beach aboard a specially designed barge that makes a smooth beach landing. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the pristine Whitsunday Islands. The trip takes about an hour, depending on the weather conditions (wind and tide).
Once you arrive, you’ll have approximately 2.5 hours to relax and explore this breathtaking destination. Wander along the silky white silica sands, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, or simply unwind on the beach while soaking up the sun. For the more adventurous, there are two scenic lookouts at the southern end of the beach, just a short 15-minute walk away, offering spectacular views of the surrounding paradise.

Please note this tour departs from Shute Harbour ( a 15 minute drive from Airlie Beach. A pick up is not included in this tour. You can get the public bus there or a taxi if you don't own a car.

Additional Information
- Bus picks aren't included in this trip, you will need to make you own way to the Shute Harbour ferry terminal 30 minutes before
- This tour does not visit Hill Inlet or the Hill Inlet Lookout. If you would like to go here you will need to do a full tour. Please ask about other options.
